This was part of a series of four paintings that focused on the waves that surrounds me on the Isle of Wight, UK.
With a nod to the local residence, the Seagulls. Who wake me up every morning :)
The oil paint is layered over and over to build up texture and vibrancy. Finished with a soft satin protective varnish.
Oil on canvas. Varnished and set within a bespoke white tray frame.
