This particular piece was a commission that was based on the clients particular colour specifications.
These works explore the journey through colour and the fluidity of water through representational semi-abstraction.
My aim is to study the seascape and take it in a new direction using line to build up calm movement throughout the piece.
The oil paint is layered over and over to build up texture and vibrancy. Finished with a soft satin protective varnish.
Oil on canvas. Varnished and set within a bespoke wooden, white tray frame.
