These works explore the journey through colour and the fluidity of water through representational semi-abstraction.
My aim is to study the seascape using line and colour to build up calm movement throughout the piece. To take you gently from the deep blue water at your feet, out to the hazy, sun-lit distant horizon.
The oil paint is layered over and over to build up texture and vibrancy. Finished with a soft satin protective varnish.
Oil on canvas. Varnished and set within a bespoke white tray frame.
Signed on the front and signed and dated on the back of the canvas.
